Liverpool will not make January signings according
to Brendan Rodgers. Liverpool has poor start to the season standing at 8th
Premier League position and could not progress to Champions league last 16. Over
£115m were spent by the Reds in the summer on new talent but Rodgers says their
problems can be solved in the present squad only and not elsewhere. He said
that there would not be much signings in January and first he looks within and
still they have players.
He said further it is not good time to make
expenditure and they did not bring anyone last year because he is happy with the
progress of the team. He explained the players they brought in summer can
improve and they have started to adjust. They would have given them time to
adjust years ago but now they judge them after one or two days. He understands
that it is very difficult for them but supporters and other people do not
understand it easily.
