Profile of Arsenal Player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is an English football player who plays for Arsenal and for national football team of England as winger. He contracted with Arsenal in August 2011 when he was highlighted during the 2012-11 Southampton season. He scored twice in his first three games which helped him to become the youngest English goal scorer in the history of UEFA Champions League. He has also represented England under 21s team regularly. Fans have nicknamed him “The Ox” taking from first part of his surname which represents his great playing style and his physical strength.
Oxlade-Chamberlain appeared first time for the senior England team on 26 May 2012 in a friendly with Norway. After this he was called up to represent England squad in UEFA Euro 2012 due to which he became the second youngest player who represented England in the European Championship after Wayne Rooney.
