Mario Balotelli has last Chance in Liverpool: Brendan Rodgers

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says Mario Balotelli will have final chance after moving to Liverpool for £16m. Balotelli watched Liverpool’s 3-1 defeat to ex club Manchester City after transferring from AC Milan. Balotelli had controversy at City but Rodgers says he can remove his short comings after admitting his signing is a risk. He said: “We can improve his game and get him mature. He is very brilliant boy. He was very smart. He knew where he stands at this stage of his career and he knows this may be his last chance. Time will prove it is a risk or not but he has to comply with our customs
.

Balotelli who scored against England in the 2014 World Cup spent two and half years controversially at Etihad stadium before moving to AC Milan in January 2013. He scored 30 goals in 80 games to help City win their first Premier League title in 44 years. He was also sent off four times. Rodgers confessed he did not consult Balotelli’s ex managers saying: “If I have talked to too many persons I would have known all stories about him. There is excitement with his coming. I want to work with him as a coach.”
