Mauricio Pochettino recognizes that Tottenham are going through a tough period but is sure they will become stronger after facing these challenges. Spurs have descended to ninth position in the Premier League as a result. Pochettino knows that has to reconstruct a system but believes he will succeed if he is allowed time to turn things right. He said: “I have enjoyed my time at Tottenham. We knew we will have a tough period when we signed for Tottenham. Pochettino suggested that Spurs should focus on future rather than remembering the past: “It is not possible for me to talk about past managers, past ideas. The club had Gareth Bale two seasons ago and the club sold him for £100million and now he is not here and Luka Modrio is also not here. Now there is a different challenge with different objective. I have taken idea from the club, from the board and I agree and we should construct something special. We need something different, neither better nor worse than before. We need time to work hard and that is for I am here. I am sure we shall achieve something may be in six months, in one year or in two years. But I am sure the club will win some important trophy in the end.”
